BamBets Tournament Rules

1. General Rules
Poker tournaments are competitive events where players play until one player collects all tournament chips.
Tournaments can range from heads-up (2 players) to large fields with thousands of entrants across many tables.
Players are ranked based on elimination order, with later eliminations earning higher finishing positions.
Blinds and antes increase at set intervals to ensure progression and prevent excessively long play.
Tournaments can be public or private, with some requiring a password to register.
Registration closes once the maximum number of allowed players is reached or when late registration ends.
Players must pay a fixed buy-in and, where applicable, an entry fee to participate.
The buy-in contributes directly to the prize pool, while the entry fee is retained by the platform.
Players receive a starting stack of tournament chips that have no real-world value and are only usable within that event.
Starting chip stacks are predetermined and do not reflect the monetary buy-in value.
Some tournaments allow entry using tickets instead of Gold Coins or BamCash.
Tickets have a fixed value and may be awarded as prizes in other tournaments or promotions.
If ticket value exceeds the remaining prize pool allocation, any excess prize value is awarded in Gold Coins or BamCash depending on the tournament type.
Prize distribution using tickets is calculated by dividing the total prize pool by the ticket value and rounding down to determine ticket awards.
Remaining prize value after ticket distribution is awarded in coins to the next eligible finishing position.
Players entering with tickets may or may not be allowed to unregister, depending on tournament rules.
When unregistration is allowed, players may receive the original ticket back or a coin equivalent.
Satellite tournaments award entry into a higher buy-in tournament rather than direct coin prizes.
Satellite tickets are typically non-transferable and may only be used for the target event.
Satellite tournaments may end once the number of remaining players equals the number of tickets awarded.
Some satellites may conclude during late registration of the target tournament, seating winners directly into it.
Freeroll tournaments require no buy-in and usually allow a single entry per player.
Certain tournaments allow late registration for a defined period or until a specific blind level is reached.
Players may unregister before a cutoff time listed in the tournament lobby.
Re-entry tournaments allow eliminated players to rejoin by paying another buy-in during late registration.
Players may only have one active seat at a time in re-entry tournaments.
Re-buy tournaments allow players to purchase additional chips during a defined re-buy period.
Re-buys are only available when a player’s chip count is below a specified threshold.
At the end of the re-buy period, players may have the option to purchase a one-time add-on.
Once re-buy and add-on periods end, the tournament continues as a freeze out.
Players who lose all chips without re-buy options are eliminated.
Some tournaments have a fixed duration and conclude when time expires, with prizes awarded based on chip counts.
Guaranteed tournaments ensure a minimum prize pool regardless of total buy-ins.
Final-table deal options may be offered if all remaining players agree.
Deal types may include equal distribution, chip-stack proportional distribution, or ICM-based distribution.

Remaining players split half the prize pool evenly
The other half is distributed based on chip stacks
3. Tournament Progression & Table Management
Most tournaments follow a freeze out structure after re-buy and late registration periods end.
As players are eliminated, tables are consolidated to maintain balanced seating.
Players may be moved between tables to ensure fairness and equal table sizes.
Excess tables are closed as the field shrinks.
Remaining players eventually form the final table.
The final table determines the winner and remaining finishing positions.
