BamBets Card Room Rules

1. General Rules


a. Card Room Rules Basics
b. Card Room Rules apply to all poker games (“Poker Games”), including Gold Coins (“Standard Play”) and BamCash (“Promotional Play”)
c. Card Room Rules should be read in conjunction with the BamBets Terms of Use (“TOU”), the Sweepstakes Policy (“Sweeps Policy”), the Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”), Poker Hand Guide (“Poker Guide”) and Responsible Gameplay Tools (“RG Tools”)
d. The Terms of Use should always take precedence over the Card Room Rules should any inconsistencies arise
e. By playing in any of the Poker Games, you agree to:

Abide by the Card Room Rules

Understand and acknowledge that any breach of the Card Room Rules may result in the suspension or expulsion of any BamBets account, to be solely dictated by BamBets

Agree that all decisions by BamBets are binding in nature

2. Game Rules


a. Unless specifically stated otherwise, all games play with a standard 52-card deck, with one shuffle at the beginning of the hand
b. Card values and poker hand rankings can be found in the Poker Hand Guide
c. Specific game rules can be found in the Ring Games General Rules Section

3. Disconnection Policy For Ring Games

a. If a player becomes disconnected, the game will provide them with additional time called the “Disconnection Timebank”, predetermined by the platform

b. If the player doesn’t return within that time, their action will be considered a check if allowed; otherwise, their cards will be folded, and they will move to “Sit Out” modeIf the game starts while the player is disconnected, their seat will be reserved temporarily. If the player does not rejoin in time, the seat opens up

c. Disconnected players will not be dealt in to hands that begin while disconnected.

4. Disconnection Policy For Tournaments:

For Tournaments (including scheduled tournaments, Sit & Go, and Spin & Go):

a. There is no time limit for a disconnected player to rejoin except for being blinded off

b. Blinds and antes continue until the stack reaches zero

c. Disconnected players will auto-check or fold until out of chips or they reconnect

5. Third Party Software and Playing Tools


a. BamBets prohibits use of the following (and similar) tools during gameplay:

a1. Bots or anything automating play

a2. Real-time advice or solvers

a3. Tools that share hole cards

a4.Databases of player history or results

a5. Hand history collectors for games not participated in

a6. Tools that expose other players' hands

a7. Any non-BamBets software that records hand histories

b. If BamBets suspects tool misuse, it may:

b2. Confiscate Gold Coins, BamCash, or prizes

b3. Suspend or permanently ban the account

b4. Take any other action described in the Terms of Use

6. Unethical Play


a. Poker is an individual game. Helping other players is unethical and forbidden. Examples include:

a1. Chip dumping

a2. Folding the nuts

a3. Soft playing

b. Penalties may include confiscation of funds and account termination. BamBets regularly monitors for such behavior.

7. Multi-accounting

a. Only one account per game or tournament allowed

b. Violations may lead to suspension or termination

8. Examples of unethical play:

a. Letting someone else finish your tournament

b. Asking a friend to play your stack

c. Teaming up with a friend at a table

d. Using another person’s password to access their account

e. Playing next to someone in a live setting while sharing info

9. Server Issues


a. BamBets is not responsible for individual internet connection problems
b. BamBets is not liable for losses due to player connection issues
c. At its sole discretion, BamBets may compensate players affected by server-related issues

b. Glossary is in the Glossary of Poker Terms section

11. Ring Games


a. Ring Game rules apply to all Gold Coins and BamCash games as defined in the Ring Games General Rules
b. Players are expected to play hands regularly, not just sit out
c. Minimum Amounts:
d. Minimum is equal to the big blind for No Limit and Pot Limit games
e. Buy-in ranges vary by table
f. Only pre-hand chips can be used during that hand
g. If a player leaves with more than max buy-in, they cannot re-enter for less until 30 minutes later

12. Rake Tables


a. Rake is taken as a percentage of the pot, typically after the hand
b. Gold Coin and BamCash rake structures are detailed in the Rake Tables section

13. Tournaments


a. General Rules
b. Tournament rules apply to all Gold Coin and BamCash events
c. Start time is listed in the Tournament Lobby
d. Prize pools, blind levels, re-entries and add-ons are shown in the specific tournament lobby
e. Seats are assigned randomly
f. Prize Stage defines when prizes are distributed
g. Multi-accounting is strictly prohibited and subject to penalties
h. If canceled, tournaments are refunded according to BamBets' policy

14. Eliminations


a. Tournament ends when one player has all the chips or remaining players are guaranteed the same prize
b. If eliminated simultaneously, chips at start of hand determine rank
c. Hand-for-hand play may occur near prize bubbles
d. Simultaneous busts are treated as such; chips decide rank
e. BamBets uses a forward-moving button — no player gets it twice in a row
f. Heads-up play: button posts small blind and acts first preflop
g. Tables are merged and balanced during play
h. Seat rebalancing is random; may result in consecutive big blinds
i. Final table is formed once enough players are eliminated

15. Breaks


a. Found in the tournament-specific lobby
b. Synced breaks occur at :55 of each hour
c. Short add-on break follows rebuy period
d. Non-synced tournaments break on timed intervals
e. Breaks begin after all hands are completed
f. Some formats may not include breaks (e.g., Hyper-Turbo)

16. Bounty Tourneys


a. Bounty Tournaments follow normal structure with added bounty rewards
b. Buy-in split between prize pool, entry fee, and bounty
c. Players win bounties from eliminated opponents
d. If multiple players eliminate someone with equal hands, bounty is split
e. Eliminated players keep bounties won
f. Winner collects their own bounty
g. If canceled, refunds follow BamBets policy

17. Progressive Bounty Tournaments (PKOs)


a. Buy-in is split into:
b. Regular prize pool
c. Progressive Bounty (PBT)
d. When eliminating a player:
e. You get the “non-progressive” portion as a payout
f. The “progressive” portion adds to your own bounty
g. If multiple players eliminate one with equal hands, all bounty portions are split evenly

18. Sit & Go


a. Starts only when a set number of players register
b. No rebuys allowed
c. Buy-in must be paid with Gold or BamCash
d. Entry fee applies
e. Everyone starts with equal chips
f. No cap on concurrent active SNGs (except for Spin & Go)
g. If canceled, refunds follow BamBets' policy
e. In these games, every player must either go all-in or fold every hand

19. Spin & Go


a. 3-player SNG format
b. Max 4 active Spin & Gos per player
c. Average 5% house hold from prize pool
d. Prize is randomized pre-game - can be up to 5,000x the Gold Coin or BamCash buy-in
e. Last player with chips wins
f. Some prize pools pay out 2nd and 3rd place (higher multipliers only)
g. Prize structure is subject to change at BamBets’ discretion

20. Bad Beat Jackpots


a. Awarded when a strong hand unexpectedly loses (e.g., quads lose to straight flush)
b. Player must use both hole cards and reach showdown
c. In Omaha, use 2 hole + 3 board cards
d. Jackpot funded via a portion of rake from eligible tables

21. Side Pots


a. Created when an all-in player has fewer chips and action continues among others
b. All-in player is only eligible to win the main pot
c. At showdown:
d. Side pot goes to best hand among non-all-in players
e. Main pot goes to best hand among eligible players
